Hello! Yes! You! Stop there reader and pay attention to this article about the paradise on the earth: EL NIDO PHILIPPINES!
We are travelers who love to make pizza…joke… who love to travel duh! I love El Nido Philippines
We went to different places around this stunning country of the Philippines but now it’s time to write about this amazing creation of God. Let’s travel to El Nido in The Philippines!
Let me tell you I was agnostic but when I stepped over the sand on Nacpan Beach and I looked around myself I started to believe!
El Nido in Palawan has one of the most beautiful paradises in the world. Here you can find white beaches with a stunning view of the blue and crystal water, hidden lagoons, limestone formations, and sandbanks.
The Philippines has around 7641 islands and if you plan to visit this wonderful country, this place is a must.
Let me recommend to you the travel insurance we used on all of our trips: World Nomads. Click their logo below if you want to go to the travel insurance website.
Firstly, Where is El Nido?
The paradise is located in the Philippines, on the huge island of Palawan, at the north of the island, exactly in Bacuit Bay.

How to go there? Let’s go to El Nido In The Philippines!
Firstly, If you’re not in Palawan, I recommend you to fly to Puerto Princesa Airport in Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines companies. If I need to choose, I will choose always Cebupac because is cheaper than PAL.
From Puerto Princesa, you have a few options to visit El Nido. We rented a normal van and it takes between 5 to 6 hours to go there.
I remember that the driver was a good joking man and kindful, his name is Daniel Acosta. I hope he still working in his Van.
The fare range is between 600 to 700 PHP. If you want to go by private van…that will be expensive like around 6000 PHP.
If you love adrenaline, I truly recommend that 6 hours van in which you will feel how your body moves from one side to the other.
Another option is to go there directly by plane, to the small airport, they have that looks like a jail.
Now, the things you MUST DO in El Nido in The Philippines
1-Relax in Nacpan Beach in El Nido! – El Nido Philippines
This one is the main reason for thousands of people visit Palawan!
I really have no words to tell you what I felt there. I was in heaven? , This beach is part of our planet?…just go there and you will… WOW…yes…WOW.
Look at these pics we took and judge by yourself:
After some hours of swiming and relaxing, it was a moment for some delicious big burgers with fries. Yes, Sir…every time that moment comes to my head…I just want to quit my job and move to El Nido, in that place happiness has no limits.
2-Visit Las Cabanas Beach
This fabulous beach was the first beach we went to once in El Nido. Las cabanas beach has a great view of the ocean and the palms over the white sand.
I really wanted to stay more here but we needed to go after some hours.
In my opinion, until now, this beach has the best bar I have ever been to.
3-Enjoy the stunning Hidden Beach
Truly, this place reminds me of the movie “The Beach” by Leonardo DiCaprio, but is not the same place.
This beach with a small lagoon and rock formation around is one of the things that make EL Nido so special and a great place to take selfies.
You need to hire a boat to go there and I recommend visiting this place so early in the morning because that time will be not too crowded.
